Call for applicants: The CAI invites applications for a sub-grant to carry out a research project culminating in the publication of a comprehensive country-based study on working conditions of private security personnel (PSPs) and related potential human rights abuses affecting value chains in high-risk sectors such as extractives, forestry, agriculture and finance in Nigeria.
Sub-grant amount: 30 000 EUR
Duration: 3 to 6 months

The CAI is a joint effort by ICoCA, TRIAL International, OEARSE RDC, African Law Foundation, Centro Para Democracia e Direitos Humanos (CDD), the Iraqi Human Rights Defenders and Activists Consortium, INDEPAZ and Iepades Guatemala to strengthen accountability for human rights abuses committed by corporate actors along value chains, with a particular focus on private security service providers.
