This week, ICoCA is in Uganda, delivering essential training to over 70 directors and senior managers from private security companies across the country.
We’re thrilled to partner with TUPSA, the Uganda private security association, to equip industry leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to align with global standards, enhance workplace safety and advance human rights protections.
This effort is part of a broader initiative by TUPSA to address public concerns over the quality of security personnel training. Through such programmes and by investing in international accreditation, Uganda’s private security sector aims to enhance its competitive standing beyond national borders. Our work together fosters professionalism, regulatory compliance and a shared commitment to improving employee welfare and maintaining the highest standards of conduct.
As Grace Matsiko, Chairman of TUPSA, shared:
“Working with ICoCA allows us to train our directors and senior managers to meet international standards and achieve accreditation as individual companies and for their staff.”
We’re proud to support Uganda’s journey towards a more accountable, transparent and competitive private security sector, and we encourage other Security Associations to connect with ICoCA to explore opportunities for collaboration in building a responsible, global security sector.
