Our research on working conditions in the private security industry is ready for publication! Over the past year, ICoCA has focused on some important questions:
- What are the challenges that private security personnel face in the workplace?
- How do these conditions affect performance and behavior on the job and well-being at home?
- What are the solutions to these challenges?
Working conditions directly shape personnel’s interactions with clients, other guards, and the communities in which private security operations take place. By shedding light on the lived experiences of guards across the globe and breaking the silence around labour standards in the industry, findings both exemplify the urgency of the issue and showcase some promising developments.
This webinar provides a valuable platform for all stakeholders not only to discuss findings and recommendations in the report but also to cultivate a space for innovation in addressing the sector’s most pressing workplace challenges.
