Annual Report 2017-2018 now available

The 2017-2018 Annual Report of the International Code of Conduct for Private Security Service Providers’ Association (“ICoCA”) is now available. It is fitting that the report is released today, on the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. As an association of private security companies, governments and civil society members, our members are taking a leading role in ensuring the respect of human rights and humanitarian law through the responsible provision of private security around the world.

This year also marks the fifth anniversary of the establishment of ICoCA. This was an important milestone for us as we consolidated our operations and concluded our transition into full operational mode. As we mark our anniversary, we are engaging with members and other stakeholders on a Strategic Plan for 2019-2023. More details about this are available in the report. We look forward to working with you all in the months and year ahead as we finalise this Plan to realise ICoCA’s mission of promoting the provision of responsible private security and implementation of the Code of Conduct.
