Aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des membres de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile African Law Foundation et Centro Para Democracia e Direitos Humanos (CDD), ICoCA a coorganis\u00e9 l\u2019atelier \u00ab Responsabilit\u00e9 des entreprises : s\u00e9curit\u00e9 priv\u00e9e et extraction responsable des ressources naturelles \u00bb, r\u00e9unissant des repr\u00e9sentants des pouvoirs publics, des entreprises, des organisations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile et des communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"820\" data-end=\"1460\">S\u2019inscrivant dans le cadre du projet en cours soutenu par l\u2019Union europ\u00e9enne, l\u2019atelier a examin\u00e9 les d\u00e9fis et les responsabilit\u00e9s des prestataires de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 priv\u00e9e op\u00e9rant dans des contextes fragiles ou touch\u00e9s par des conflits. Les \u00e9changes ont mis en \u00e9vidence le r\u00f4le essentiel de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile dans le suivi et le signalement des abus li\u00e9s \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 priv\u00e9e, la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de renforcer la collaboration multipartite et l\u2019importance de garantir l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des m\u00e9canismes de recours pour les communaut\u00e9s affect\u00e9es. Les participants ont \u00e9galement explor\u00e9 des pistes pour am\u00e9liorer les conditions de travail du personnel de s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1462\" data-end=\"1881\">Le Directeur ex\u00e9cutif d\u2019ICoCA a apport\u00e9 des perspectives pratiques et des \u00e9tudes de cas, encourageant les parties prenantes \u00e0 passer des engagements \u00e0 une mise en \u0153uvre concr\u00e8te.
