ICoCA a \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9e \u00e0 faire une pr\u00e9sentation sur les initiatives visant \u00e0 superviser les activit\u00e9s des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 priv\u00e9es (SSP) et sur les fonctions essentielles de l&rsquo;Association. Le directeur ex\u00e9cutif a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 les activit\u00e9s de l&rsquo;Association visant \u00e0 \u00e9lever les normes de l&rsquo;industrie des PSC, en soulignant les avantages pour les clients qui passent des contrats avec les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s membres d&rsquo;ICoCA.<\/p>\n<p>Parmi les participants figuraient des gouvernements d&rsquo;Am\u00e9rique latine et des Cara\u00efbes, de la CARICOM, de l&rsquo;UE, de la Suisse, du Royaume-Uni, de la France, du Canada, des \u00c9tats-Unis et de l&rsquo;Allemagne, le Comit\u00e9 international de la Croix-Rouge (CICR), le Centre pour le contr\u00f4le d\u00e9mocratique des forces arm\u00e9es (DCAF) de Gen\u00e8ve, des repr\u00e9sentants d&rsquo;organisations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile (OSC), de l&rsquo;industrie extractive et des CSP.
