Plus de cent membres, observateurs et clients du monde entier y ont particip\u00e9. Les \u00ab\u00a0affili\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb d&rsquo;ICoCA ne sont pas membres de l&rsquo;association, mais ils acceptent de fonctionner conform\u00e9ment au code, sont soumis \u00e0 la surveillance de l&rsquo;association et doivent remplir l&rsquo;auto-\u00e9valuation annuelle de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Les affili\u00e9s ne sont toutefois pas tenus de respecter le m\u00eame d\u00e9lai que les membres transitoires pour devenir membres certifi\u00e9s d&rsquo;ICoCA. Ce nouveau statut d&rsquo;affili\u00e9 garantit que l&rsquo;Association inclut les entreprises de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 priv\u00e9e d\u00e9sireuses de d\u00e9montrer leur conformit\u00e9 au Code mais qui ne sont pas encore pr\u00eates \u00e0 entamer le processus de certification ICoCA. Il a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 convenu de repousser la premi\u00e8re date limite pour la certification ICoCA d&rsquo;avril 2020 \u00e0 d\u00e9cembre 2020 et de modifier les dates limites ult\u00e9rieures au 31 d\u00e9cembre de la troisi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e civile de l&rsquo;adh\u00e9sion transitoire. Cela donne donc plus de temps aux membres transitoires pour obtenir la certification ICoCA et permet d&rsquo;aligner les dates limites de certification sur la fin de l&rsquo;exercice financier.<\/p>\n<h3>Nouveaux membres du conseil d&rsquo;administration<\/h3>\n<p>Suite aux \u00e9lections, nous avons le plaisir d&rsquo;annoncer que quatre nouveaux directeurs ont rejoint le conseil d&rsquo;administration d&rsquo;ICoCA comme suit :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Chenais, Conseiller politique, Affaires \u00e9conomiques et droits de l&rsquo;homme, D\u00e9partement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral des affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, remplace R\u00e9my Friedmann en tant que nouveau repr\u00e9sentant de la Suisse et nouveau pr\u00e9sident du conseil d&rsquo;administration<\/li>\n<li>Cliff Johnson, procureur du D\u00e9partement d&rsquo;\u00c9tat am\u00e9ricain, remplace Kate Gorove en tant que nouveau repr\u00e9sentant des \u00c9tats-Unis<\/li>\n<li>David Hornus, fondateur de Corpguard, remplace Chris Sanderson en tant que nouveau repr\u00e9sentant du pilier industrie &#8211; UK\/Europe<\/li>\n<li>Caleb Wenga, fondateur d&rsquo;Usalama Reforms, remplace Joshua Loots en tant que nouveau repr\u00e9sentant du pilier de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Charlie Mayne a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9\u00e9lu pour un second mandat en tant que repr\u00e9sentant du Conseil de l&rsquo;industrie repr\u00e9sentant le \u00ab\u00a0Reste du monde\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Tous les membres sortants du conseil d&rsquo;administration ont \u00e9t\u00e9 remerci\u00e9s pour leur travail et leur d\u00e9vouement \u00e0 ICoCA. Des remerciements particuliers ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 adress\u00e9s \u00e0 R\u00e9my Friedmann, qui s&rsquo;est retir\u00e9 de la pr\u00e9sidence du conseil d&rsquo;administration apr\u00e8s avoir occup\u00e9 ce poste pendant deux mandats au maximum depuis la cr\u00e9ation d&rsquo;ICoCA il y a six ans. Tina Tinde, conseill\u00e8re en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;AESP, F\u00e9d\u00e9ration internationale des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s de la Croix-Rouge et du Croissant-Rouge (FICR), a apport\u00e9 un t\u00e9moignage qui donne \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir et qui montre un manque de progr\u00e8s d\u00e9cevant au cours des d\u00e9cennies o\u00f9 elle a travaill\u00e9 sur cette question. Elle a f\u00e9licit\u00e9 ICoCA et ses membres d&rsquo;avoir braqu\u00e9 les projecteurs sur cette question et d&rsquo;avoir fourni un mod\u00e8le \u00e0 suivre pour les autres acteurs du secteur et au-del\u00e0. Deirdre Brown MBE, chef de l&rsquo;unit\u00e9 de politique multilat\u00e9rale, Direction de la politique multilat\u00e9rale, Minist\u00e8re des affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res et du Commonwealth du Royaume-Uni, a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 le point de vue du gouvernement britannique. Les gouvernements, comme toute autre organisation, doivent s&rsquo;attaquer de front \u00e0 ce probl\u00e8me, et elle a soulign\u00e9 qu&rsquo;une approche de tol\u00e9rance z\u00e9ro est le seul moyen d&rsquo;\u00e9viter qu&rsquo;une culture d&rsquo;exploitation et d&rsquo;abus ne s&rsquo;installe. Andrew Farquhar CBE, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Garda World UK, a donn\u00e9 un aper\u00e7u pratique de la fa\u00e7on dont la Garda met en pratique sa politique en impliquant l&rsquo;ensemble de la main-d&rsquo;\u0153uvre, et de la fa\u00e7on dont cela doit \u00eatre inclus de tous, de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de direction aux gardes \u00e0 la porte.<\/p>\n<p>Parmi les autres points forts de l&rsquo;AGA, on peut citer un panel sur \u00ab\u00a0Le r\u00f4le des clients\u00a0\u00bb : Vers une responsabilit\u00e9 partag\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb. Au cours de cette session, les participants ont pu entendre des repr\u00e9sentants des Nations unies, de General Electric et de Philip Morris International, qui ont tous pass\u00e9 des contrats avec des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 priv\u00e9es et qui favorisent tous les membres de ICoCA dans leurs politiques d&rsquo;achat.
