Nous, soussign\u00e9s, repr\u00e9sentants d’organisations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile membres de l’International Code of Conduct Association (ICoCA), souhaitons apporter tout notre soutien et notre solidarit\u00e9 \u00e0 Leonardo Gonz\u00e1lez, directeur de l’Observatorio de Derechos Humanos y Conflictividades, membre de l’ICoCA, qui travaille sans rel\u00e2che pour faire la lumi\u00e8re sur les probl\u00e8mes urgents en mati\u00e8re de droits de l’homme, suite aux r\u00e9centes menaces prof\u00e9r\u00e9es par un groupe de dissidents des FARC. Nous reconnaissons l’importance de ces efforts pour apporter des changements positifs dans diverses communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Ces derni\u00e8res menaces sont apparues apr\u00e8s que M. Gonz\u00e1lez, lui-m\u00eame courageux d\u00e9fenseur des droits de l’homme et de la justice, a expos\u00e9 sans crainte les risques encourus par une communaut\u00e9 dans le d\u00e9partement du Cauca en Colombie.<\/p>\n

Nous d\u00e9non\u00e7ons fermement toute action visant \u00e0 \u00e9touffer les voix qui mettent en lumi\u00e8re les injustices et d\u00e9fendent les personnes vuln\u00e9rables. Il est imp\u00e9ratif que les d\u00e9fenseurs des droits de l’homme soient prot\u00e9g\u00e9s et qu’ils aient les moyens de poursuivre leur pr\u00e9cieuse contribution \u00e0 une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 meilleure.<\/p>\n

En tant que membres de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile de l’ICoCA, nous sommes solidaires de Leonardo Gonz\u00e1lez et de tous ceux qui se consacrent \u00e0 la poursuite de la justice et des droits de l’homme, et nous appelons \u00e0 la sauvegarde des droits de tous les individus, en particulier ceux qui se trouvent dans des situations vuln\u00e9rables.<\/p>\n
