Durante su visita, particip\u00f3 en la Conferencia sobre Seguridad Minera en \u00c1frica Occidental (WAMS)<\/a><\/strong> y se reuni\u00f3 con expertos del sector, organizaciones de la sociedad civil y proveedores locales de seguridad.<\/p>\n

Organizada por el Alto Comisionado de Australia, MS Risk Limited (Afiliado de ICoCA) y Australia-Africa Minerals & Energy Group (AAMEG), la conferencia proporcion\u00f3 valiosas perspectivas sobre los retos a los que se enfrentan la industria minera y las comunidades locales de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n se celebraron reuniones constructivas con empresas de seguridad privada que desean trabajar con ICoCA para promover pr\u00e1cticas de seguridad responsables.<\/p>\n
