El objetivo de esta misi\u00f3n era colaborar con las principales partes interesadas de las industrias extractivas y promover pr\u00e1cticas responsables de seguridad privada, abordando al mismo tiempo los retos pertinentes.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-63107\" src=\"https:\/\/icoca.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Copy-of-FRS-design-2-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"502\" srcset=\"https:\/\/icoca.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Copy-of-FRS-design-2-2.jpg 1286w, https:\/\/icoca.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Copy-of-FRS-design-2-2-300x274.jpg 300w, https:\/\/icoca.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Copy-of-FRS-design-2-2-1024x935.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/icoca.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Copy-of-FRS-design-2-2-768x701.jpg 768w, https:\/\/icoca.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Copy-of-FRS-design-2-2-365x333.jpg 365w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Compromiso de ICoCA en la Promoci\u00f3n de Pr\u00e1cticas Responsables de Seguridad Privada en las Industrias Extractivas de la RDC<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ICoCA particip\u00f3 en el Grupo de Trabajo sobre los Principios Voluntarios de Seguridad y Derechos Humanos para la Provincia de Haut-Katanga, y Lualaba, que sirven como centros importantes para las empresas extractivas en la RDC. Este compromiso facilit\u00f3 la interacci\u00f3n directa con los actores de las industrias extractivas, tanto multinacionales como locales, proporcionando una plataforma ideal para la comunicaci\u00f3n de la importancia de las pr\u00e1cticas responsables de seguridad privada. Durante la misi\u00f3n, el DACF y ICoCA entablaron amplios di\u00e1logos con las empresas extractivas, centr\u00e1ndose en el tema fundamental de las mejores pr\u00e1cticas de seguridad privada. El objetivo era subrayar los principios b\u00e1sicos y las consideraciones \u00e9ticas vinculadas al despliegue de personal de seguridad privada en el sector extractivo. Un objetivo primordial de estos debates fue la identificaci\u00f3n y el examen de los retos a los que se enfrentan las empresas de seguridad privada en las industrias extractivas. Estos retos iban desde las complejidades operativas hasta la garant\u00eda del cumplimiento de las normas internacionales y la defensa de los compromisos en materia de derechos humanos. ICoCA dio prioridad a la importancia primordial de salvaguardar los derechos humanos en el sector extractivo. Las conversaciones ahondaron en c\u00f3mo las pr\u00e1cticas de seguridad privada podr\u00edan afectar a los derechos humanos, poniendo de relieve la necesidad de un enfoque m\u00e1s concienzudo de las operaciones de seguridad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abordar Cuestiones Clave, Promover el Despliegue <\/strong><strong>\u00c9<\/strong><strong>tico y Mejorar la Colaboraci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La misi\u00f3n hizo hincapi\u00e9 en la urgencia de promover pr\u00e1cticas de seguridad privada responsables, que abarquen la adhesi\u00f3n a las normas internacionales, la transparencia, la rendici\u00f3n de cuentas y un firme compromiso con el respeto de los derechos humanos. Se hizo especial hincapi\u00e9 en el uso de perros en las operaciones de seguridad privada, velando por que su despliegue se atenga a principios \u00e9ticos y humanos. Otro aspecto fundamental de la misi\u00f3n consisti\u00f3 en aclarar la distinci\u00f3n entre seguridad privada y p\u00fablica y establecer sus respectivas funciones y responsabilidades. Esta diferenciaci\u00f3n es fundamental para garantizar que las empresas de seguridad privada act\u00faen dentro de los l\u00edmites de la ley, respetando al mismo tiempo los derechos humanos y las normas \u00e9ticas.<\/p>\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, ICoCA celebr\u00f3 reuniones confidenciales con clientes de las industrias extractivas para profundizar en los entresijos de la contrataci\u00f3n de seguridad privada.
