Los esfuerzos siguen ganando terreno a escala nacional e internacional para que sea un requisito obligatorio para las empresas. Todas las empresas miembros y afiliadas de ICoCA tienen la obligaci\u00f3n, en virtud del apartado 2 del C\u00f3digo, de actuar con la debida diligencia para evitar infringir los derechos de terceros.<\/p>\n<p>En respuesta a la necesidad de que los proveedores de seguridad privada lleven a cabo una diligencia debida en materia de derechos humanos, ICoCA ha publicado una <a href=\"https:\/\/icoca.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/ICoCA_HRIA_Guidance_A4_WEB1.pdf\">gu\u00eda sobre la Evaluaci\u00f3n del impacto en los derechos humanos de los proveedores de seguridad privada<\/a>. El objetivo de la gu\u00eda es ayudar a las empresas de seguridad privada (ESP) a aplicar el primer paso de la diligencia debida en materia de derechos humanos, evaluando si la prestaci\u00f3n de un servicio contratado puede repercutir de forma negativa en el disfrute de los derechos humanos y, en el caso de las que operan en contextos afectados por conflictos, tambi\u00e9n puede infringir el derecho internacional humanitario.
