Francia tom\u00f3 la iniciativa en 2017 aprobando una ley que obliga a las grandes empresas francesas a contar con procesos de diligencia debida en materia de derechos humanos en toda su cadena de suministro. A finales de este mes se celebrar\u00e1 en Suiza un refer\u00e9ndum sobre la denominada Iniciativa de Empresa Responsable, que, de aprobarse, obligar\u00e1 a las empresas suizas a verificar el cumplimiento de las normas de derechos humanos y medioambientales en toda su cadena de suministro internacional.
