Am\u00e9rica Latina es particularmente problem\u00e1tica para los defensores del medioambiente, pues los proveedores de seguridad privada son contratados por todos los sectores e industrias del continente.<\/p>\n<p><strong>C\u00f3mo puede ayudar la regulaci\u00f3n y vigilancia del sector de la seguridad privada <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La evoluci\u00f3n de los marcos normativos nacionales de las empresas de seguridad privada ha sido desigual y, en numerosas regiones, sigue habiendo muchas empresas de seguridad privada no reguladas. .<\/p>\n<p>La ICoCA ha demostrado ser una plataforma importante para permitir la implementaci\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica de los Principios Rectores de las Naciones Unidas sobre Empresas y Derechos Humanos, para mejorar el acceso a los recursos y garantizar la rendici\u00f3n de cuentas.
